The 7kW output and square beam handle dense male hair patterns that frustrate weaker lasers. The Splendor X is a true medical-grade laser — not IPL. IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) scatters broad-spectrum light across the skin. A laser delivers concentrated, precise energy at specific wavelengths that target the hair follicle directly. The result: deeper penetration, better follicular disruption, and effective treatment across more skin types. IPL devices — especially at-home versions — simply can’t match the results.

Your first session includes a full skin and hair assessment. If your skin type, hair color, or medication history makes you a poor candidate, our NPs will tell you before the first pulse — there’s no charge. We screen for photosensitizing medications, active skin conditions, and hair pigment levels. This happens in maybe 2-3% of cases — for everyone else, you’re cleared and treated in the same visit.
