Yes. Folix is effective for both male and female pattern hair loss. Women experiencing thinning related to hormones, stress, or aging can benefit from Folix, especially when combined with hormone evaluation.
TRT can increase DHT levels, which contributes to hair thinning in men genetically predisposed to it. During your consultation, Dr. Valle will evaluate your full picture — including hormones — to determine how Folix fits into your specific situation. Many of our male patients are on TRT.
We document baseline photos at your first visit and comparison photos at each follow-up. You’ll be able to see objective progress. Most patients also notice reduced shedding within the first month.
