True Roots is a physician-led performance and aesthetics practice in La Cañada Flintridge, CA. We combine hormone optimization (TRT, peptides), hair restoration (Folix), NAD+ IV therapy, medical aesthetics (Botox, fillers, laser), and medical weight loss (GLP-1). Every treatment plan is designed and supervised by Dr. Luis Valle, DO.

Three things. First, every treatment plan is designed by a physician, not a nurse practitioner. Second, Dr. Valle has DEA registration, which means we can prescribe testosterone, peptides, and other controlled substances that medspas cannot. Third, we start with bloodwork and hormones, then build an aesthetics plan on that foundation. Most medspas skip the first two steps entirely.

Yes. Our practice is male-forward, meaning we've specifically designed services and messaging for the underserved male market, but we're gender-inclusive. Our service menu and approach serve both men and women.

True Roots operates as a private-pay practice. We do not bill insurance directly. Some lab work may be eligible for reimbursement depending on your insurance plan, and we can provide superbills for you to submit to your insurer.

A valid photo ID, a list of any current medications and supplements, and any recent lab work you may have. We can review previous results, though we'll likely run our own panels.

Typically 30-60 minutes, depending on your goals and complexity. Dr. Valle takes the time to understand your full health picture.

In many cases, yes. Botox, IV therapy, and laser treatments can often begin on the same day. TRT and peptides require bloodwork results first (typically 5-7 business days).
